At MFD the 105mm f/1.4 wide open is as sharp or even a bit sharper as the 105mm f/2.8 Micro Nikkor. Of course the DOF @1.4 is very shallow.
At f/2.8 the sharpness of the 105mm f/1.4 increases significantly and matches the excellent sharpness of the 70-200mm f/2.8 FL!
The Micro Nikkor never really catches up with the other two.
At a distance of around 3m, the 105mm f/1.4 performs better than at MFD and the sharpness is much closer to f/2.8.
Again the Micro Nikkor can not catch up with the other two lenses.
Bokeh comparison
Bokeh at f/1.4 is of course in another league. At f/2.8 all lenses perform reasonable well.
